Hialeah Middle School's Parent-Teacher-Student Association is the keystone of parental involvement. The PTSA sponsors activities and fundraisers. The PTSA also assists students and teachers throughout the year. It enables parents and teachers to work for continual improvement of the social, physical and educational climate of the school and community. All parents and teachers are encouraged to join and actively support our PTA.

PROJECT UPSTART: Project UP-START, under the Department of Title I Administration, is the Education Program for Children and Youth Living in Transition in Miami-Dade. The program assists schools with the identification, enrollment and attendance of students in transition to help ensure their successful academic achievement. The core of the program is to prevent children and youth in transition from being stigmatized, separated, segregated, or isolated.
